General Description

The Deputy Program Manager supports the Program Manager in leading, coordinating, and overseeing program operations to ensure successful execution of contract requirements. This role assists with day-to-day operational oversight, monitors performance against established timelines and quality standards, and helps maintain alignment with client expectations and program goals.

The Deputy Program Manager also supports leadership and oversight of the Quality Assurance (QA) Program, helping ensure QA activities are conducted consistently, documented appropriately, and aligned with contract requirements, compliance standards, and performance expectations.

Primary Duties

  • Support daily program operations, workflow coordination, and execution of contract deliverables.
  • Assist the Program Manager with monitoring program performance, timelines, staffing needs, and quality standards.
  • Coordinates QA activities to ensure consistency, compliance, and timely completion of required reviews.
  • Track performance metrics, identify operational risks or quality concerns, and support corrective action planning.
  • Coordinate communication among internal teams, clients, subcontractors, and other stakeholders as needed.
  • Prepare and review reports, status updates, meeting materials, and documentation related to program performance and QA activities.
  • Serve as a leadership resource for program staff and support continuity of operations in the Program Manager’s absence.

Minimum Qualifications

Work Experience: The candidate shall have at least seven years of medical review experience, including at least three years in a leadership role related to medical review and quality assurance. Experience with government contracting is required.

Education and Licensure: The Deputy Program Manager shall have a current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the United States or a U.S. Territory.

Salary: $93,000-103,000 based on relevant qualifications, experience, and demonstrated expertise.
